Bearwood Classic Car Show.

So, a nice local show for some of us at Bearwood College in Wokingham. We met in Sainsbury’s car park so we could all drive into Bearwood together, attending were Jayne, Jim, Alec & Brigitte, Phil & Sharon (No car for Sharon today cos she had an attack of man flu) and Alan M and also Clive, Andy and Jonathon (Mk2 Granada) from East Berks Branch. We also had an unexpected visitor in the form of our very Raymondo who came in as a spectator. We drove into the college car park only to be turned around and sent down through the woods on a rally cross course, again. We took up our position at the bottom of the steps on the main lawn looking down to the lake and made our little campsite.

I was told there were 270 cars invited but there were many more outside the main entrance parked along the driveway. The show was opened by John Madjeski who also presented the prizes. There was a good selection of vehicles on show, both very old and very new. A few of the highlights....................

And finally the car (or van on this occasion) I would like to be run over by......

1972 Ford Transit

Spare a thought for Ricky the Ice-cream man working all day with a massive queue.

And really finally for anyone who wanted a little sit down....... a DFS GT

So Thanks once again to BADCCC Dave for inviting us and hope to return again next year. We all hope loadsa cash was made for the HELP FOR HEROES charity.
