HOME / EVENTS / 2017 EVENTS & SHOW REPORTS / BASINGSTOKE FESTIVAL OF TRANSPORT

Basingstoke Festival of Transport.

Here we are again, only a fortnight has passed since the Popham show where we feared rain and wore coats... but now it's tee shirt and jeans.... not quite good enough for shorts though

A civilised 08:30 start from down grange where; using local knowledge, we got split up en route to the venue! The slowest and the straggler still arrived first though.

As usual there were an enormous amount of stuff to see, as well as loads of side shows and traders for all. This year, as usual, there were some stunning cars. An Escort Mexico and a rare as rocking hours poo RS1600.

This one was the competition of the time to the Escorts, very nice, but nah!

This one really was as shiny as it looks

Just take a look at the these, especially the Jeff Uren Savage

And the car "that I'd most like to be run over by" and no surprises it's this one.. the benifets of doing the write up..
